A little something for the mind…
One thing that has really helped me over time has been learning how to meditate. I wasn’t always onboard about meditation but I have learnt over the journey to just chip away at it. When I first started with this though it was something just simple like being in nature and walking around or sitting within it. Now it’s more sitting down to try to calm the mind to disconnect from the day to day life with a guided meditation. Here are some suggestions for ones that I find really helpful.

SOund bowls are one of the beautiful things that I have found on my journey that really helped with navigating the nervous energy I was feeling. They really helped to reset the nervous system and allowed me to bring in more of the calm energy I was needing. give this a try when your feeling out of sorts or use it as a preventative tool. I have added some videos here of a couple that I love!

A little something for the spirit…
I have put together some tips and tricks for helping you uplift your spirit!
Cleanse your environment regularly! I mean regularly!
It’s so important to regularly cleanse and clear the environment that you live in. Home, car or even the home office, I always think of it like cleaning your house. YOu do that regularly so you should also cleanse and clear the space you occupy. You can use sage, palo santo, sound, chanting, use plants within your space to help cleanse the air, use candles or aromatherapy sprays or oils, and declutter areas within your space.
You could also use specific crystals within the environment such as a house or home office to help protect and raise the vibrations within the space. Crystals (I have linked this for more info if you want to know about specifics) such as Black tourmaline, selenite, Rose Quartz, citrine, and amethyst are great for cleansing and protecting the low vibes from entering your space. I personally wouldn’t suggest using crystals in your bedroom or children’s bedrooms if anyone is very sensitive to energy though.
I personally use selenite above the windows and doors of my rooms within my home. I also use black tourmaline for the corners of rooms and to protect the entire home from the low vibes that can be around. I have rose quartz and amethyst within specific rooms within the home to help raise the vibrations and citrine to bring abundance. I regularly cleanse all of them every few months with palo santo to ensure that they are cleared of the energy that they take on and recharge them in the sun every few months.
Another great way to shift into a higher vibration is getting out into nature. The movement, the vibration of nature itself, hugging a tree, or just simply walking with high trees around you (forest bathing) or along a beach can help shift you from feeling out of sorts and right back into feeling yourself again.
You could also dance yourself into a new vibration and help clear that bad funk you’re feeling. I saw lots of these ecstatic dance classes and tried one or two while I was travelling in Bali, Indonesia. There great to shift the vibes and get the body moving. in the words of LCD Soundsystem... Dance yourself Clean (just know this song was playing in my mind when I was writing this). You can use whatever music you want though and shift those feels!
WHen you’re totally in your feels and have zero motivation to do any of these things journalling is always a great one. It shifts out the feelings you might be holding within you and helps you get into the new vibration that you want to be in. just free journal how you feel or write down and address what has been the most obvious thing that has been on your mind that day which has presented or cropped up through the day. Journal all the feelings out and then if you feel called to burn the paper after you have finished with it, or tear it up and put it in the bin after you have finished. Make sure that you choose to burn the journal entry though that it is safe to burn it and use fire safe practices.
